Pumpernickel Quick Bread

Ingredients
- 1 cup rye flour
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2-1 teaspoon caraway seed
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil or 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1/2 tablespoon sesame seeds
Recipe
- 1 set oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 grease 1 9" x 5" loaf pan.
- 3 in a bowl, combine rye flour, cornmeal, whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda and caraway seeds.
- 4 in a small bowl, beat eggs, molasses, milk and oil.
- 5 pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients; stir with a wooden spoon to blend.
- 6 pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
- 7 sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- 8 bake 50-60 minu8tes, or until loaf tests done.
- 9 remove bread from pan, cool on wire rack.
