Homemade Cornbread

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup canola oil

Recipe

  • 1 stir together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • 2 add eggs, milk, and oil.
  • 3 stir just until smooth (don't over stir).
  • 4 turn into a greased 9x9 baking pan.
  • 5 bake for 20-25 minutes in a 425°f oven.
