Whole Wheat Vegan Pancakes

Ingredients
- Servings: 5
- 2 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons ground flax seed
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 cups soymilk
- 1 dash cinnamon
- 1 dash vanilla extract
- 1 cup berries (optional)
Recipe
- 1 in a large bowl, add all ingredients except berries or nuts.
- 2 mix lightly until combined. do not over-mix.
- 3 let mixture rest 5 minutes.
- 4 fold in optional berries or nuts.
- 5 cook on a greased griddle over medium heat until golden.
- 6 serve with homemade syrup or jam.
