Lighter Sweet And Sour Lamb

Ingredients

- 1 lb lean boneless lamb
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3/4 cup pineapple juice (from can below)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 4 slices ginger, chopped
- 1 onion, in wedges
- 3/4 cup pineapple chunk, canned,divided and reserve juice
Recipe
- 1 cube lamb and marinade in next four ingredients for 20-30 minutes (more is fine).
- 2 combine vinegar, soy, brown sugar and pineapple juice.
- 3 set aside dredge lamb in cornstarch.
- 4 coat wok with oil and heat.
- 5 cook lamb in wok until done and brown.
- 6 remove from heat and set aside.
- 7 stir fry garlic, ginger, and onion.
- 8 add pineapple chunks.
- 9 add sauce mixture and heat until thick and clear.
- 10 add meat and cook until hot.
- 11 can be served over rice.
