Lamb Chops With Apples And Onion

Ingredients

- 4 boneless lamb loin chops
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon canola oil
- 2 medium apples, thinly sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons cider vinegar
Recipe
- 1 sprinkle lamb chops with thyme, salt and pepper.
- 2 heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium high heat.
- 3 add lamb chops; cover and cook 3 minutes.
- 4 turn chops; cover and cook an additional 3 to 5 minutes or until lamb is no longer pink in center.
- 5 remove chops from skillet; cover to keep warm.
- 6 add apples, onion and brown sugar to same skillet; mix well.
- 7 cover; cook over medium high heat for 5 minutes, stirring once.
- 8 add vinegar.
- 9 cook, uncovered, 3 to 6 minutes or until apples and onion are crisp tender and light golden brown, stir occasionally.
- 10 serve apples over lamb chops.
