Edamame With Scallions And Sesame

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (12 ounce) bag frozen edamame, shelled
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon canola oil
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce
  • 2 tablespoons scallions, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 bring edamame, soy sauce and water to a boil in a saucepan over medium high heat. reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 12 minutes or until tender. if any liquid remains, cook until the liquid has evaporated.
  • 2 remove from heat. stir in the sesame oil, canola oil, hot pepper sauce, scallions and black pepper. serve.
