Sweet Cornbread

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup skim milk
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 2 tablespoons honey
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 400.
- 2 combine dry ingredients.
- 3 add milk, egg and oil.
- 4 stir until well mixed.
- 5 coat 9 inch square pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- 6 bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean (approximately 20 minutes).
- 7 combine margarine and honey.
- 8 spread over top of hot cornbread.
