Oxtail Stew Jamican Style

Ingredients
- 2 lbs oxtails, cut into pieces
- 1/3 cup canola oil
- 3 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoons thyme
- 1 medium hot pepper
- 1 (20 ounce) can peeled tomatoes
- 1 cup water
- 3 medium green peppers, diced
- 2 cups boiled plantains
Recipe
- 1 season oxtail with salt and pepper.
- 2 heat oil and add oxtails, brown slightly.
- 3 add onions and green peppers.
- 4 add tomatoes, hot pepper thyme and water
- 5 bring to a boil.
- 6 lower heat and cook 1 hour.
- 7 if needs it add more water.
- 8 serve oer boiled plaintains.
