Wheat'n Oat Pancakes

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 1 3/4 cups skim milk
  • 1 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons raw sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Recipe

  • 1 combine 1st two ingredients in small bowl and let stand 5 minutes.
  • 2 in a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients.
  • 3 beat eggs, oil, and vanilla into oat mixture just until blended.
  • 4 gradually stir wet mixture into dry mixture just until moistened (mixture should be lumpy).
  • 5 cook on medium heat.
