Sour Cream Banana Cake

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 2 whisk all the wet ingredients together in a medium bowl until smooth. set aside.
  • 3 whisk dry ingredients together in a large bowl. spray your bundt pan with cooking spray, or lightly grease.
  • 4 mix wet ingredients into the dry, adding a tbs or so of milk if needed. batter will be thick but not dry. pour evenly into the bundt pan and bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. let cool completely before removing from pan.
  • 5 serve with powdered sugar and fresh strawberries.
