Honey Mustard Chicken

Ingredients
- 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
Recipe
- 1 dry the chicken breasts with paper towels, then season with salt and pepper.
- 2 heat the oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- 3 brown the chicken in the skillet, 4-5 mnutes per side. remove from the pan and set aside.
- 4 whisk together the honey, mustard, flour and broth.
- 5 add to the skillet and bring to a boil.
- 6 once the sauce thickens, return the chicken to the pan and cover it.
- 7 simmer the chicken in the sauce over low heat for 10-15 minutes.
