Low-fat French Toast

Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 1/4 cup milk (soy milk)
- 2 tablespoons flour (whole wheat)
- 2 tablespoons sugar (evaporated cane juice)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (i use way more than that)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (sea salt)
- 1 tablespoon oil (canola or vegetable for frying)
- 2 slices bread (whole grain, if you have leftover batter, use more!)
Recipe
- 1 heat a frying pan to medium.
- 2 whip all ingredients except oil until very well blended.
- 3 if you're using bread, dip bread slices in batter, fry with oil on both sides until done.
- 4 if you're using whole grain bread, soak slices in batter for a few minutes, and then fry with oil on both sides until done.

- 6 the oil can be mixed into the batter, and baked on a sprayed pan.
- 7 bake at 350 degrees, 30 minutes. flip the slices half way through.
