Levi's Sesame Chicken Wings

Total Time: 2 hrs 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 3 lbs chicken wings
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • 1 3/4 cups honey
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • toasted sesame seeds

Recipe

  • 1 cut wings at the joints and discard tips.
  • 2 rinse, pat semi-dry and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • 3 place on broiler pan and broil 5 inches from top, 10 minutes on each side.
  • 4 place in slow cooker.
  • 5 combine remaining ingredients except sesame seeds and pour over chicken.
  • 6 cover and cook on high 2 1/2 hours or low for 5 hours.
  • 7 sprinkle sesame seeds on top just before serving.
