Tammy's Perfect Cornbread

Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup soft margarine
- 3 teaspoons canola oil
Recipe
- 1 sift flour and sugar together to remove lumps.
- 2 add baking powder and salt.
- 3 stir in corn meal.
- 4 add eggs, milk and butter.
- 5 mix until smooth.
- 6 grease or use cooking spray in bottom of pan before adding mixture.
- 7 bake in a 9x9x2 pan @ 425 until golden brown for approx 20-25 minuets.
- 8 serve either hot or let cool to room temperature.
