Maple-almond Granola (cooking Light)

Ingredients
- 4 cups oats
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 1 cup dried cherries
- 1 cup raisins
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 325.
- 2 combine first 4 ingredients in a large bowl.
- 3 combine water, honey, syrup, sugar and oil in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. (careful this will boil quickly!).
- 4 pour over oat mixture; toss to coat. spread oat mixtrue on a jelly roll pan coated with cooking spray.
- 5 bake at 325 for 35 minutes or until golden, stirring every 10 minutes.
- 6 stir in cherries and raisins. allow to cool on the pan.
- 7 store in an airtight container for up to a week.
