Sausages In Hearty Red Wine Sauce

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb beef sausages or 1 lb lamb sausage, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup tasty red wine
  • 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 brown sausages in oil.
  • 2 add remaining ingredients and stir.
  • 3 boil gently, uncovered, for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring often.
