Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 -1 1/2 lb boneless lamb or 1 -1 1/2 lb boneless chicken breast
- 1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
- 1 tablespoon oil (i use canola oil )
- 2/3 cup peach preserves (sugar free if desirsed )
- 1 (16 ounce) bottle chunky style salsa (mild or hot depending on your taste )
Recipe
- 1 cut meat into 3/4 inch pieces and place in zip loc bag. pour taco seasoning in and coat meat well with seasoning.
- 2 heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat and brown meat, stirring occasionaly.
- 3 add salsa and peach preserves to skillet. stir well and lower heat, cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
