Mexican Green Beans

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 lb green beans, trimmed
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 (10 ounce) can rotel tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoons basil, chopped
  • 1/2 fresh lemon, juice of

Recipe

  • 1 in a large skillet, saute‚ beans, onion and garlic in hot oil until beans are tender-crisp.
  • 2 stir in rotel and basil.
  • 3 simmer uncovered for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 4 sprinkle with lemon juice.
