Sangria Muffins

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup fruit, chopped (apple, peach, and orange)

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f coat 12-cup muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray or with paper liners.
  • 2 in a large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and sea salt.
  • 3 in a separate bowl, combine egg, milk, melted butter, red wine, canola oil, lemon juice, and ground cinnamon. add to dry ingredients with chopped fruit.
  • 4 stir until just moistened. fill lined muffin cups 2/3 full.
  • 5 bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • 6 cool for 5 minutes before removing to cool completely.
