Sangria Muffins

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 cup fruit, chopped (apple, peach, and orange)
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350°f coat 12-cup muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray or with paper liners.
- 2 in a large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and sea salt.
- 3 in a separate bowl, combine egg, milk, melted butter, red wine, canola oil, lemon juice, and ground cinnamon. add to dry ingredients with chopped fruit.
- 4 stir until just moistened. fill lined muffin cups 2/3 full.
- 5 bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- 6 cool for 5 minutes before removing to cool completely.
