Ingredients
- Servings: 10
- 2 cups rice, cooked
- 5 ounces tuna fish
- 1 egg, beaten
- canola oil, for frying
- 1 teaspoon salt
- black pepper, to taste (optional)
- nori, sheets
Recipe
- 1 heat canola oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- 2 mix egg into cooled, cooked rice until well-combined.
- 3 take a spoonful of rice mixture and roll into a ball shape.
- 4 press a hole into the middle of the ball and add fish.
- 5 cover hole with more rice mixture and roll until uniformly round.
- 6 place ball into heated oil and fry on each side until golden brown.
- 7 set aside on paper towels to cool slightly.
- 8 season lightly with salt and pepper (if desired).
- 9 wrap rice balls with nori.
- 10 serve and enjoy!
