Rachel's Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients
- 10 1/2 ounces condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 1/2 cups frozen green beans
- 1/3 cup frozen cut okra
- 2 large onions, diced
- 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons seasoning salt
- 1/2 cup canola oil, for frying
Recipe
- 1 steam the green beans and okra.
- 2 in an ungreased 1.5-quart baking dish (i like to use a deep 10" round pan), blend all the batter ingredients together.
- 3 add the veggies and fully blend.
- 4 dice the onion into thin 1" curls.
- 5 mix the breadcrumbs and seasoned salt together in a bowl. coat the onion pieces.
- 6 fry the onion pieces in the canola oil until golden brown, and blot on paper towels.
- 7 mix about half the fried onions into the casserole, and top the dish with the remaining onions.
- 8 bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes.
- 9 let cool for 5-10 minutes, serve and enjoy!
