Oriental Salad

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 25
  • 2 (16 ounce) packages broccoli coleslaw mix
  • 5 -10 green onions, diced
  • 4 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 green pepper, chopped (optional)
  • 3 (3 ounce) packages ramen noodles, reserve seasoning mix for dressing
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 (3 ounce) package slivered almonds
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon oregano

Recipe

  • 1 mix broccoli, onions, and pepper together and chill.
  • 2 saute broken up noodles, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, and almonds in butter until almost brown.
  • 3 cool.
  • 4 mix dressing ingredients together.
  • 5 combine all ingredients shortly before serving.
