Whole Wheat Muffins

Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 2/3 cup wheat germ
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 2/3 cup honey or 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup low-fat milk
- 1 egg
- 4 tablespoons canola oil
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 400.
- 2 prepare muffin pan by lining it with paper baking cups or spraying with cooking spray.
- 3 combine flour, wheat germ, salt, and baking powder in a bowl.
- 4 add honey or brown sugar, milk, egg and oil all at once to dry ingredients. mix until just moist.
- 5 do not over mix-batter will be lumpy.
- 6 fill muffin cups 2/3 full and bake 15 to 20 minutes.
