Whole Wheat Muffins

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 2/3 cup wheat germ
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2/3 cup honey or 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup low-fat milk
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tablespoons canola oil

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 400.
  • 2 prepare muffin pan by lining it with paper baking cups or spraying with cooking spray.
  • 3 combine flour, wheat germ, salt, and baking powder in a bowl.
  • 4 add honey or brown sugar, milk, egg and oil all at once to dry ingredients. mix until just moist.
