Patata Wa Lahmi (potatos And With Beef)

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 5
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 3 potatoes, diced
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 3 cups canola oil (for frying)

Recipe

  • 1 in a pot add canola oil on high heat fry the potato's cubes like you would french fries until golden.
  • 2 set aside to drain any extra oil.
  • 3 in a skillet on med-low heat saute diced onions until they are tender not golden.
  • 4 in a bowl combine meat,salt,black pepper,cinnamon.
  • 5 add beef on top of onions and cook meat until brown but still leaving some moisture.
  • 6 before the moisture evaporates (just before beef browns add the fried potato's at the last moments using a spatula to toss make sure not to crush the potato's combine the meat,potato,onions on low heat
  • 7 place on serving plate serve with hummus or tabouli with pita bread.
